Ideally located in the heart of the Marais
The universally popular Marais is an ideally central location for visiting Paris. Rue des Rosiers is a narrow lively street where cafés, modest and not-so-modest restaurants jostle for space with designer boutiques and Jewish delis – a street of contradictions. A favourite of Parisians and tourists alike, the heart of the Jewish quarter.
On weekends the street becomes crowded with ambling pedestrians. Within 5-15 mins walk you can visit 17th Place des Vosges, Picasso Museum, Museum of the History of Paris, Ile St Louis, Ile de la Cité, Notre Dame, Left Bank and the Louvre – just for starters ! Grocery, bakers, delicatessens on doorstep, and supermarkets 5 mins walk. You will be staying in a very strategic location close by numerous restaurants, café and designers shops right at your door’s step.
The building is from the 17th century and has an irresistible charm. This authentic french style apartment has been completely renovated in 200. It overlooks a garden which offers the quietness of the countryside.
It’s a spacious 3 bedroom apartment of 90 Sqm which can accommodate up to 6 people thanks to its smart layout. Once you enter you will be greeted by one flight of stairs, downstairs the master bedroom with a very minimalist style. A double bed with lamp side table to allow reading at night. It’s very private since there are no windows in this room.
There are 2 more bedrooms upstairs. One bedroom with 2 single beds and an additional one bedroom with a single bed within a mezzanine (designed by an architect) where 2 children or one adult can sleep at ease. The living room gives view to a peaceful garden and thanks to its west exposure enjoys the sun all day. It has all the comfort one could expect in terms of equipment. A piano (the owner is a professional violonist) many books on art / litterature music…and comfortable couch. Sufficent chairs to host a party of 6 people. The very high ceiling and quietness of the apartment is perfect to relax after a busy day wandering the streets of Paris.
The kitchen has a very well designed traditional oven (good brand) which will allow you to cook like a chef and experiment elaborate meals!. A provincial style kitchen including a table covered with beautiful ceramic very convenient for having breakfast for instance by remaining in the kitchen. A bautiful wooden dining table in the living room to enjoy dinner.
There are many unique pieces of art exposed through out the apartment, from Africa and Asia, thanks to the numerous trips from the owner around the globe, as an international violonist player.
It’s fully equipped with washing machine and drier, dishwasher, oven, internet access, TV with international channels, dvd player.
